Captured Services
At IPRA we offer 3D Captured Services which entail the three dimensional scanning of interiors and objects enabling the in depth analysis of a real world environment. By doing this we can collect accurate data on the environment’s shape and appearance for which we can analyse in comparison to the specifications, requirements or legislation describing that environment.
Our 3D laser scanning technology is a non-contact, non-destructive technology that digitally captures the shape of physical objects using a line of laser light. Our instruments capture multiple points of light, known as ‘Cloud Points’ across a surface used to build a digital model of that exact object inside a computer.
At IPRA we use the models we capture to further analyse in comparison with plans, other forms of data, legislation or building codes to help us understand and uncover the unknown.
